Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

Make sure to read the fine print to figure out if the special permit requires bulk powder, open sights, nonsaboted bullets, or if it has any other unusual regulations. Those special permit hunts can be a pain in the ass sometimes. |

So I have come to really not like the KelTec PF9 after owning it a while. My pinky hanging off the grip is annoying and though I fully believe that I fixed the FTE issue... I don't feel 100% confident.
So... I bought something different. Bersa BP9cc - $429 (mine not actually in the pics) Gonna go shoot it tomorrow. Longer barrel, longer grip. The KelTec w/ HogueJr grip, laserlyte sidemounted laster, + extra mag now for sale. |

The information for the special hunt says "Muzzleloading or Cap-&-Ball Firearms Only (3 hunts-in-lines and scopes are allowed)" Not sure what the hunts-in-lines means

you can shoot round balls out of inline but the twist rate is wrong & accuracy is pretty bad. |

Picked me up a new springfield xdm 9mm last week. Now I can't find ammo for it. It's pissing me off.

He's drawing a special permit. One of which only 7 people get. You don't **** around on these types of hunts. You read the rules and maximize your potential of killing a giant. If you want to go back in time, use old ass shit, and pretend you're raping and pillaging Indian tribes with Custer, do it on a regular permit you can buy over the counter. I have several of the old flints and cap & ball dead ends, but I sure as hell don't use them on special permit hunts. |
