Raiders Trade for Carson Palmer
Per Rotoworld, the Raiders are close to acquiring Carson Palmer.

On my phone, so no link, but what the hell do the Raiders have left to trade?

Yeah.

Trent Green:Obtained in the offseason and was instrumental in implementing new offense, as he ran the same offense in St Louis. Trent Green was ascending and had a QB rating over 100 the year before after coming back from a knee injury. Also, one first round pick and the Chiefs got an additional pick in return. Even still, the Chiefs stunk that first year as he got to know the team.

Carson Palmer: Not in this offense. Aquired in the middle of the season. Palmer has quit on his team. He has been on the couch for 10 months. He hasn't been in meetings. Oh, and rather than one first round pick, getting a QB and a fifth rounder in return.... it is one first round pick and at least another second for a QB and no additional picks in return.

What a stupid trade by the Raiders.

Mike Brown being a dick pays off. Palmer was probably woth a 3rd at most. He gets a 1st and maybe 2? WOW!

Palmer had talent around him the last few years. The year before last when they went to the playoffs he held them back. He has lost his arm strength and really is about like Matt Cassel.

At least we didn't give up to first round picks for Cassel's worthless ass.

We have picks to fix our problem at qb this offseason. They are stuck with 4 shitty choices at QB for at LEAST the next 3 years.
