49ers pick that they traded was 145. We held Miami's 5th at 144, our 5c pick. I assume KC could have had Ginn with that pick if they had wanted to make the trade.

Ginn's best contribution would be as a kick return man though. Miami was not using him as a punt returner. As a WR he caught 49% of the balls thrown to him in 2009. He can run but he can drive a team nuts.

Which means if you trade for him, 2 of the 5 WR's you're dressing each week are specialists.

He's an average kick returner and a below average WR.

Glad they passed.

Yes, but that would require that Pioli actually make a move.

He must not have been able to get ahold of Belichick in time. Dumbass Pioli - you'd better have your text message prepared when the 'skins finally make their pick, BB may not get back to you in time to get your card turned in.

FYP, by saving the R5 pick you would have spent on Ginn. Guessing you'd have to pull Misi to get the R3 you'd need to draft Gilyard.

Won't matter who the tackles are anyway the Chiefs line is going to get piss pounded up the middle because Casey Weigmann never has been able to block 34 nose guards.

I'm not sure why not trading for draft bust Tedd Ginn is such a big deal though.

On it's own, it really isn't.

It is, however, symptomatic.

Our GM is gutless.

To be fair he did try and trade for Boldin. I would classify his moves as moronic not gutless. It's been stated before this franchise has now put all it's chips in the draft and we'll just have to wait and see though this franchise has never drafted good.

Christ, this just makes me sick.

This roster would be built for years of contention. The only guy over 30 on this list is Waters.

The Chiefs franchise was excellent at drafting in the 70's and 80's under Steadman and Schaaf (60's as well).

The problem is that other than Hank Stram, they couldn't find a coach worth a shit.

Look at the 80's roster that Marty inherited: Neil Smith, Bill Maas, Deron Cherry, Albert Lewis, Kevin Ross, Lloyd Burrress, Carlos Carson, Stephone Paige, Dino Hackett, Nick Lowery, John Alt, Christian Okoye,, Jonathan Hayes, JC Pearson and Kevin Porter.

That's some serious talent. They also traded a 4th for DeBerg.

I should say my lifetime look at how they've drafted. Forgive me for not having faith in this organization to draft. And if they wanted to build through the draft why did the hire the guy whos know for building through free agency? What the ****.........
