Meh, is it perfect? No. But it's as if PKs aren't a part of the game in regulation.

A lot of soccer fans don't like PKs either. There's just not a good alternative. Golden goal is shit, silver goal nearly useless. It's simply not possible to continue overtime until a goal gets scored. What do you do after 120 mintes? Another 30 minutes? Players would barely be able to move. It's hard to think of a better alternative.

I watched some of the World Cup. Sorta got into it momentarily, then realized I was just buying into the hype and legitimately could not give one shit about the sport outside of blatant jingoism.

Club friendlies are typically pretty horrendous affairs, but the atmosphere will be fun. If it was a different big club, I would probably go.
