A deep threat WR is the biggest need because we haven't been able to bitch about Cassel overthrowing the deep ball this year. If we get a guy who can get open deep, a whole new facet of bitching is available and we can really open up the Cassel attack.
And then we can have more threads like this.

At this point, Cassel trusts Bowe, Moeaki, his line and his running game...once he is able to trust his #2 receiver and slot receiver he will take the next step in his development and has a real chance to become something special.
Fun times ahead, guys. |

You know, I really hope we win a playoff game.
Because if we don't, this place is going to be an unbearable war zone in the offseason. One side claiming we were the Boise State Frauds, the other saying it doesn't matter, we were 11-5 goddammit. If we win a playoff game it will be an offseason of peace and happiness.

The only reason I'd get upset is if we lost because Cassel played like shit in a game we could have won with good play. |

We are the peak of where I thought we would be in wins and everything from here out is frosting. I also think that the beating we took in SD was a taste for this young team of what to expect and how they need to raise their intensity level when the stage gets bigger. FTR I think we win a home playoff game this year and lose the following game on the road. Winning a playoff game is gonna be like winning the Superbowl, for me, after not even remembering what it felt like when Joe Montana lead us to the last playoff win. |

I remember what it felt like, but I sure as hell took it for granted.

I'm waiting to hear if I have a seat to the WC game, should we get there, because you never know how long it will be before we get another home playoff game. One home playoff game in the past decade-plus, and only one home playoff win in close to twenty years? Go if you can, folks. |

You know what's crazy? And it's so premature I almost hate to post it, but oh well.
Let's say we get the home game in the Wild Card round and win. At that point we would, in all likelihood, travel to Pittsburgh for round 2...a big challenge but not out of the realm. Who's the one team in the AFC who could beat New England at the Razor? The Baltimore Ravens, who would have beaten Indy/Jax in the Wild Card. Let's say that happens and the Ravens get the Patriots and win...we COULD be looking at the AFC Championship Game at Arrowhead. First things first, though...beat Tennessee. |
