So far the "upgrades" at pitcher has meant nothing... the Royals bats were left back in Arizona. I would much rather have Myers than Shields and Davis.. if you aren't going to score runs all the pitching in the world means zilch.

And we thought 7 years of Hosmer was going to be great from the jump and it has not been so great. Myers might be the next Ryan Braun or he could flame out in the bigs like guys before him. Don't get me wrong I would rather have him playing right now instead of Frenchy but I really like how much Shields upgrades our staff and am hoping Davis does the same thing.

by the looks of it...the only chance we have is if Shields is a true #1 and Davis is our #2.

Santana and Guthrie are .500 pitchers at best.

We will score runs, we had the same damn line up last year and scored runs. It was the starting pitching that killed us.
