There are countless variables as far as the number of turnovers he'd have with the Chiefs, etc; but you're basically saying the Jets are quite a bit better than the Chiefs, outside of the QB position... I guess they would be 9-0 with Smith?

First off, the one common opponent, the Titans, beat them 38-13. Secondly, the Jets offensive line protects better than the Chiefs line. Lastly, considering Reid likes to throw 70% of the time, it's likely that his INT's would be even higher. Besides that, he's garbage. He hasn't improved his decision making through nine games. They beat the Saints but he had 125 yards passing. Big whoop. |

There were many that made the point that: 1) the OTs in this draft were being overrated (especially by Matt Miller, who compared Joeckel to Jon Ogden - which still makes me laugh) 2) In a draft that is weak all the way around and has NO sure things, it makes sense to take a player at the position with the most upside (QB).

Unless Clark hunt is making the draft decisions, why does it matter?

The guys that matter, thought otherwise, hence the ol were drafted where they were. It's utterly ridiculous to determine what anyone is from this draft class 9 games in. I realize the thought on the most upside, but there has to be a balancer here as well in that said qb has to have shown something of an upside that makes you think he'd be worth the risk. |

I was on the Geno bandwagon as much as anyone. That said, there is a good chance we didn't spend a draft pick and still got the best QB coming out of that class. SEC starter, laser rocket arm, and some moxie. He's going to need some development, but I'm not remotely giving up on the idea of Bray being our starter in 15 or even sooner.
I also DON'T GIVE A **** about anything else because we are 9-0. Of course there are problems, I thought this was a 9 win team with Andy Reid starting off the year. Welp, mission accomplished. Everything from here is gravy and I'm excited about the future of this team. After the shit storm we've endured, this is PLENTY good enough for me. I'm confident in our coaching staff, and front office. Which is the point. Anyone who thought we'd go on a Super Bowl run the year after going 2-14 is a ****ing reerun. It's all ****ing gravy at this point. ALL OF IT. Our future is bright. Enjoying the ride. Aware of the weaknesses, will talk about them whenever I want, or feel the need too. But in no way am I going to feel cheated, slighted, or ****ed in any way over this team this year. That's stupid. |

There's a chance, but I wouldn't exactly call it "good." The rate at which UDFA QBs work out is infinitesimal.

I said it at the time, after some convincing from sorter, that Sheldon richardsons hould have been the pick. But I think the Albert situation had something to do with the pick |

I get that. And normally I wouldn't say something like that, but this class was weak. It really was. And if anyone out there is going to pick that gem, it's the guys we have. And the proof is really in the pudding. The kid looked great in the preseason. I know it's still an uber long shot. I'm not holding my breath. I'm just saying.
