If I'm Miami, my bigger concern is Tony Parker. Chalmers can't guard him. They may need to stick LeBron on him, and that's going to give Pop an opportunity to do some really creative things.

What do you do with your roster if you're the Pacers? You've got West as a FA and a year left of Granger. Would anyone take Granger off their hands? Can they keep West? Can they find a shooter?

I could see the Cavs trading one of their firsts (maybe even their #1) for Granger. And he'd fit in to that team beautifully.

KC connection. Now you can see why I struggle to put LeBron above Jordan.
LeBron went unconscious yesterday. He played pissed off. When LeBron wants to be, he might be the most unstoppable player in any sport not just in history, it for years to come. The problem is, you have these kinds of pissed off performances sprinkled in with a lot of ssuperstar but not quite Jordan performances. In other words, LeBron at his best is easily the greatest of all time. The difference between him and Jordan is that mj played pissed off all the time. Didn't matter if it was the fifth game of the season or game 5 of the playoffs. Maybe this is the start of LeBron going on a pissed off frenzy. But the way he took over the second half is the way people want to see him do on a regular basis. He's played great in the playoffs this year, but think we all agree that game 5 LeBron was something entirely different. |

But the Spurs have more playmakers than the Heat have seen this whole playoffs. Parker, Manu, Leonard, and Timmy can all create their own shots. It will be extremely hard for the Heat to win the series if they play how they've played so far in the playoffs. LeBron going into God mode every game isn't going to be enough to beat the Spurs. Wade and Bosh have to step up and play at a level they haven't played this whole season.

LeBron wasn't any more or less dominant last night than any other game in this series (other than perhaps game 3 when he didn't have to be as as Wade showed up for the only time). He's inarguably in the middle of one of the greatest post seasons of all time and is carrying an entire team to the NBA finals that is giving him next to nothing in the way of help. If that isn't good enough for the haters, nothing ever will be.

He's playing great basketball. Lebron yesterday was in god mode, it was the kind of lebron you want to see every night, and this is not some sob story where lebron has nobody around him. Further, the heat have too often looked beatable in this playoff series against subpar playoff competition. Indiana is a good team but a very underwhelming matchup for a conference finals. It is not hate when you have to fight off exaggerations of lebron being some kind of a mythical hero. |

lets put it this way
the big 3? yeah no it's the big 1 with quality role players Dwayne Wade has lost about 5 steps. Chris Bosh is paid to...jack 3s? What? LeBron is starting to look Jordan-esque. Even when it matters. Did anyone really doubt that was going to happen last game? I knew LeBron would rise to the occasion just like I always knew Jordan would. The NBA is LeBron's for the next 5 years minimum. He'll win a title anywhere he plays. He's just THAT good. He just makes the right play almost every single time...he's a freak of nature. No one has ever played basketball better than LeBron James. No one. Now...can he be a killer like MJ always was? I can't wait to find out. |

The rest of the playoffs, he's played superstar efficient basketball. I'm sorry, but when your team is struggling, I don't want to see him dishing the ball around with a few minutes to go. Last night, he decided he was going to take over. His pissed off speech to his teammates was the wake up call the heat needed but one we aren't worth seeing. If lebron keeps going with what we saw in game 5, he will be Jordan. If he Plays as he has the rest of the series, he will have had a great playoff performance that wasn't quite Jordan. |

dude you'll never see me say a negative ****ing thing about MJ...he was a ****ing amazing clutch gamer/a true killer
that isn't ****ing LeBron LeBron makes the right god damn play...even if it's down the stretch. Now...should he be taking it to the rack hard when they need points? Yep. Every time...but if he takes it to the rack and 4 people collapse and leave Ray Allen wide open for a 3...it's not LeBron's fault for making the right play and seeing his teammate miss a shot. I don't need to see LeBron take every shot like MJ to be able to compare him to MJ. Besides...the bullshit foul out game he just ****ing nailed a big ****ing 3 and I was so mad to see that dumbass foul call because I really wanted to see LeBron in the clutch and that was a perfect time for a Jordan moment... instead we were robbed by one of the worst ****ing calls I've ever seen...you just CAN'T make that call...ever. Not on LeBron. Really...not on anyone. So bad. I can't believe LeBron kept his cool after that. |
