The AFCW as a whole has a tough stretch of games... Denver definitely has a tough schedule. Toughest in NFL History?
Bottom line - Denver went SB or Bust with a 2-3 year window when they went all in with Peyton. If he gets hurt ... forget about it. Hanie and Brock aren't the answers to be a viable backup right now. Denver is all in ... protecting Peyton is goal #1 on every play.

Not much of a shot. The Donks have a better team than last year but Brock Osweiller and Caleb Hanie aren't ready to lead a team. I think the Donks could hang in there and I don't think the AFCW is that great right now so you never know....
The Chargers have a QB, but they don't have much else, especially if Gates continues to have his injury problems. The Raiders have had a terrible offseason and won't be a factor at all. The Chiefs have a good team but don't have a QB. We only scored 13 points per game last year and some of our best skill players are coming off ACL injuries.

I fully expect plenty of faux-roughing penalties to protect him. Not to mention the holding calls that line will get away with. |

Yep we all know that Broncos fans don't have any problem with accepting ill-gotten wins.

Exactly, and Chiefs' fans would cry to the commissioner to have such luck reverted... every team benefits from non-calls, it evens out over a game and especially a season. You just remember the calls that go in favor of the team(s) you hate most.

no. we're the effing kansas city chiefs. the team that was good during a period in which the rolling stones were still young. the team that ignores the most important position on the field perpetually. the team that hasn't won a playoff game since 1993. the team that throws out shitty rhetoric and hopes to be only good enough to put butts in the seats. in other words, **** you bronco fans. you really don't know how good you have it. next time the ball bounces our way will be the first in a LONG time. |

Mannings gonna need to be on fire right out of the gate for you guys to win the division and I have my doubts on if he will or not.
Honestly, I see a lot of early games lost due to miscommunications and Manning thinking he can fit passes into tight spots that his rusty arm cant. That beginning stretch of 6 games is gonna brutal and if you make it to the bye with a winning record, I can see you guys making it as far as the AFCC game possibly...but I dont really think thats gonna happen, I see your team either being 2-4 or 3-3 at the bye. Steelers Falcons Texans Raiders Patriots Chargers bye Saints Bengals Panthers Chargers Chiefs Bucs Raiders Ravens Browns Chiefs Time will tell how it plays out...all in all, I think the finale will be for the division crown and I see Manning having one of his worst games as a pro in that game. |

I see Denver finishing 12-4 or 13-3.

I think Manning will do fine. It's the rest of the team I'm not sure sure about!

In Madden 2012?...or in real life?
Look at your schedule again and realize your team is devoid of good safety play and has a bunch of JAGs at corner added to a 80 year old Champ Bailey that is due to hit the wall anytime now (I think that happened late last year, but I digress) You guys are gonna need to win shootouts against teams that would love to get into shootouts with you. If Manning wasnt coming off a year off due to a broken neck and was at full speed RIGHT NOW and the rest of the offense had a year under their belt with the playbook, I could see 11-5...as it sits I see a 9-7/10-6 team AT BEST. time will tell. |
