Per Rotoworld, the Raiders are close to acquiring Carson Palmer.

On my phone, so no link, but what the hell do the Raiders have left to trade?

And if they would have backfired on us, we would have had picks to fix it.

The Raiders have mortgaged their entire draft next year, and one of their top 2 picks next year to build a mediocre squad with a terrible QB who has sat out half a season and is entering a new unfamiliar situation.

True. But we didn't give up a possible TWO 1st rd picks?

If Oakland only gives up a 2nd next yr then it's not a terrible deal.

desperate needs cause for desperate measures.......There is no win in this, only fail. No pre-season, conditioning, knowledge of the offense.......it will take him to week 10-11 and next thing you know season is shot and so are the Raiders.......8-8 (possibly)for 2 first rounders and qb that will not be around next season. Al Davis lives on!
