DayZ

With the DayZ standalone playable alpha release looming, I thought I would check out the mod version of the game. http://dayzdev.tumblr.com/

If you dont know, DayZ is an open world survival zombie game modification based off of the military sim ArmA 2 games. www.dayzmod.com

Basically its hardcore mode survival against zombies and even more dangerous, other players.

I have been watching vids for months and took advantage of a steam sale today to pick up ArmA 2.

Anyone playing DayZ right now? Servers? Thoughts? I have a teamspeak we can use!

You cannot truly be one with this game until you fall to your death. Also, I will be on in a couple hours.

That was terrible. We were in the school, and some guy comes up all friendly like. He wanted to trade some of my ammo for a scope, and he needed some food because he was near death. So Buck said I should act like I am trading with him, then Buck just Smoked the guy! I feel dirty.

that's messed up broooooo

Just remember, when you shoot the guy, you run the chance of damaging or ruining the scope.

The guy wanted to trade Beauford his only scope for some Mosin Ammo (why would you do this?). Then without warning he let off a shot.

So that's when I decided to kill him.

Yeah killing him was the right thing to do. It was just my first time doing so, and it was just over so suddenly.

My girl ended up taking me out to dinner and then we went to sleep because she had to work at 6 am today, sorry I didn't get back on.

Weekends are pretty much a no go for me and games
