How tough must it be to be a fan of a team with 5 Lombardi Trophies.
Im a browns fan you dope. You know, that team that's never even PLAYED in a super bowl, much less won one?

If you're a Browns fan, why the interest in either team?

Come on now, its been well known that I like the 49ers, since I was a kid, and became a browns fan when my grandpa died in 91. That was his favorite team. Ive loved em both. Always have, always will.

I wonder if there is a QB that wants to win more than Alex this year? Is there? Yes they all want to win but..

He gets screwed over by his coach he trusted and the unwritten rule that you dont lose your spot after an injury. Has to sit on the bench and listen to how great the new guy is and how bad he is. Never once complaining mind you. Then shopped around, drug through the mud until he is the worst QB to ever play. His new team fans welcome him like the aids tree. Even though he is leaving a Loaded 49ers team and coming to the Worst team in the NFL last year in the middle of a rebuilding year. Noone wants him, believes in him and have called him every name in the book. Yet he stays positive and praises the city, the team and the fans. Pretty classy- and shows True Leadership- something this sorry ass team needed in the worst way.

He is not just some slub on his last leg trying to get one more payday- he wants to win and let his talking be done on the field. He wants to prove everyone wrong and shove it the 9ers face for ditching him.

Until he proves me wrong on the field I think he deserves a chance. Personally I think he will have a big year!!

I'm not understanding the bolded part here. And to the latter part of the bolded, it seems to me that most fans are feeling good enough about Alex. It's the dozen or so vocal pussies here at CP that the bolded fits.. and believe me, Alex wouldn't know or care what they say. He has zero interest or participation in the internet forum world.

Isnt that the way it is. Bitches like you, cant convert everyone into having your ' the world is ending' approach to things, and so your very childlike approach is to tell them to leave, say that we don't belong here. Blah blah blah. No one cares, no one is leaving because you are going to throw a tantrum like my 2 year old because you aren't getting everyone to agree with you. Comparing Matt Cassel in any way shape or form to Alex Smith, is stupid. Alex Smith is a well respected, liked, and proven leader. Matt Cassel was forced upon his coach by the GM. Alex Smith was wanted for several years by Andy Reid. Alex Smith is surrounded by coaches, Nagy, Reid, and Pederson, who understand the qb position, and they thought enough of him, to bring him in. This isn't Romeo Crennel bringing in Brady Quinn, this isn't Pioli bringing in Matt Cassel. This is John Dorsey, and Andy Reid getting their guy who was the best of a very bad year of qbs. Yes, a shiny turd, is still a turd. I get that, and he is not the sexiest pick. I can agree with all of that. Spending 1.1 on Geno Smith, would of at least given the appearance that the Chiefs were at least giving a look to the future. Unfortunately, Geno Smith is a project qb who is going to take years to win, and the Chiefs didn't want to wait that long. Essentially, if you just follow the draft, the Chiefs didn't see anyone draftable to even consider making their project qb. You are talking about a guy, who was apart of a front office in green bay, that despite having aaron Rodgers, drafted Brian Brohm, in the second round, and Matt Flynn in the 7th, and cut Brohm in camp. He has proven to have no problems drafting developemental qbs, yet, they didn't draft one at all this year. Think about that for a second.

Oh, and by the way. Im not leaving still.

Mother **** you Carl Peterson and Marty Schottenheimer for not sticking with Rich Gannon and putting Elvis Grrbitch in for the playoffs.

That "unwritten rule" really ****ed us up.

"Loser Rule". Clearly, Harbaugh possesses the intelligence and balls that Schottenhiemer lacked.

Better to simply ignore me and what I say, if you disagree. I only came here to read worthwhile discussion about KC,but sadly, there has only been a small % of that so far. Although I respond to the silly mudslinging, I was hoping CP had more to offer. I'll wait a while and see if CP improves as the season and other fans arrive. If it remains filled only with the same dozen myopic haters that do nothing but rip on their own team? I'll happily move on to another KC forum.
Just leave.

Include an actual showing in a playoff game and not a Casselian ass-whipping, and I'll be inclined to agree with you.

Make no ****ing mistake:

This team sees some post-season, or these moves were GIANT FAIL.

I have no problem with that. I also have no fear in telling you that this team will compete with anybody.
