Guys I need a good biscuits and gravy recipe for this weekend. One that's simply amazing. Some stories about the best restaurant purchased as well. What was the best b and g you have ever eaten? Also are you more of a fan of the top or bottom of the biscuit? Any and every thing about this topic shall be in this thread.

I knew that I liked you guys, Biscuits and Gravy is my favorite.

Probably the only thing that my mom taught me to cook as a kid that I remember. The only reason that she taught me was because she was tired of me asking for it.

My mom and Paula Deen are like twins. Butter and more butter. Once you get the roux to its creaminess you like add your milk. If you need to thin it out, don't use more milk use butter lol. It's rich, creamy and heartattackish.

went to a little diner in grandview the other morning for breakfast...Ranch Cafe

very average biscuits and gravy...almost no sausage in them at all

rest of their fare was good though

i'm always amazed by these restaurants that make B&G and skimp on the sausage
