[QUOTE=GloucesterChief;9861690]Griffey's recklessness while he was young probably took a good 1-3 years out of his prime. He would go full speed into the center field fence. So, you crashing into the walls often can shorten your career.[/QUOTE. ]
That terrible astro turf he played on for 10 years was probably the bigger factor. The stuff they use now days is tons better |

I'm intrigued by Puig because I just love watching incredible talent, especially post-steroid era.
But more than anything... man, love Donnie Baseball. It's a crying shame that the guy never won a single playoff series. Even Yankee haters can't possibly hate the guy. Would love to see him do some damage in the postseason, especially after he got unfairly shit on by a critical media. |

Showing up your teammate while standing on 2B? In full view of everyone? He still has a lot to learn.

as a Braves fan - I'd much rather face the Dodgers in Post-Season than the Cards. But neither one of you all scare them, I think it's safe to say.

Puig with 12 walk in the last 13 games. Plate discipline adjustment was fast. Putting a beatdown on the cards. Love it
