****Official Royals @ Rays Game Thread 6/13****

Started my first game thread of the season in yesterday's win, so lets make it 2 days in a row.

Personally, the line up we have today was perfect for it. I'm more of wanting to get another bat, through trade for the 3rd base side. I can handle Johnson being the 2nd basemen over Getz. And Lough replacing Francouer.

While it's still terrible, it's still an improvement. If KC can get a 3rd baseman who can hit for a shit.....

Moosetacoes has been in bad need of a vacay to Omaha for the last month. I feel Tejada has earned some playing time at 3rd for a while.. Tejada has gone above and beyond in everything he has been asked to do thus far, and hey, he couldn't possibly be worse than Moose is right now, right?

Play Gordon at 3rd base. On days he doesn't play 3rd, play him at LF.

There is no reason guys like Chipper Jones, Miguel Cabrera and Albert Pujols have done this (Chipper especially) and Alex Gordon can't.

Our best lineup right now would be with Lough/Cain/Dyson in the OF and Gordon at 3rd. I'll take replacement level defense at 3rd (a slight downgrade to Moose defense) and a bat with an .800 OPS when Moose is sitting at a .500 OPS. At least Dyson has shown he can get on base this year.

Moose needs time in AAA. This is the best way IMO for this to happen. Get Alex back at 3rd.

The same people were like 'uh no, he can't hit and play 3rd!'

yeah...just like he couldn't hit 3rd, right?!

Ever since he's moved back to 1 he's been in a HORRID slump. Yet we're winning. Why? Because the rest of the dipshits are hitting a little bit and we're pitching lights out.

Someone just referenced how poorly our team played when Alex hit 3rd. Uhm. Yeah. Because he was the only one hitting and our pitching suddenly wasn't lights out every night.

Some of you are just so dumb when it pertains to baseball it sickens me.

Dyson got hot at the end of his last run here... but still I'm not sure if we have solid evidence he's better than having Tejada in there every day. I think Dyson is sloppy out there sometimes.

By moving Gordon to third I think you greatly increase the odds Francoeur gets back into the lineup everyday.

Alfonso Soriano led the NL in OF assists one year and everyone knows how great he is at LF!

Like that stat means ANYTHING.
