Lots of new previews on IGN. Halo OSDT, FF13, Mafia 2 (am eagerly anticipating this one), Borderlands, MW2, etc.
Anyone try the just released Lost Planet 2 demo? |

All of which are outstanding titles (except Home of course). The only problem with the PS3 was the pricetag. That has become much less of an issue now. For the price, it is a better buy than 360 now. Still it is all in what you need. If you only need games and also want to play Gears and Halo then go ahead and get a 360. By the way, InFamous is outstanding and holding its own.

360 creamed PS3 and sadly Wii stomped the shit out of both of them when it comes to software sales and accessories.. Of course neither really competes with Wii.. PS3 goals for next war should be: price, not as shitty coding that pisses off coders and pimping their stability compared to the 360 early problems 360 will win again if they get: bluray, keep on with the sheer number of better games, keep equal in price, and ensure customers that they will not have the rrod issue.. Should be at least a more equal battle next time.. |

EDIT I don't see the 360 ever getting bluray though.

I do, Sony does not own it, they are part of it.. The rest are:
Matsushita, Pioneer, Thomson LG Electronics, Hitachi, Sharp Samsung Apple Dell HP Mitsubishi Electric Panasonic Philips Sun Microsystems TDK Twentieth Century Fox Walt Disney Warner Bros. It would be a bad business decision for all of them to deny MS next console bluray(which Sony owns the trademark, so MS would give up some money to them) but one.. Sidenote, If Sony had not had bluray player this round imagine how much worse their sales would have been.. |
