Good. I ****ing hate 11 a.m. kicks.

Been hearing good things from Bramlage today. I really think it's gunna be a fun bball team to watch this year.

Yeah, except we're in year 3 of "The Comeback." These are either:

1) players you recruited
2) players from the old regime who you thought were good enough to start
or 3) you failed at recruiting better players

And hell, it's not even the lack of talent or the fact that the defense is giving up these yards that bothers me so much. It's the fact that we consistently run the same conservative, soft zone with limited success. We give up an OU record in passing yards one week, then come out with the same gameplan against (essentially) the same offense the next week and allow more school records. I can live with getting gashed. Getting gashed while running the same thing over and over is what kills me.

I guess what I really want is for our coaches to put the players in a position to succeed. The 4-man rush with a soft zone wasn't working. That's fine. But why did Cosh think that putting Malone on an island against Justin Blackmon (who I don't think anyone in the conference can cover by himself) in the open field would be successful? (Maybe he sent pressure on the play & was banking on getting to Weeden, but I don't remember seeing anyone blitzing on the play.)

I just feel like when something isn't working, Cosh has a hard time adjusting. And if he does adjust, it's to something that doesn't make any damn sense (like the 2nd Blackmon TD). That, to me, is the sign of bad coaching/playcalling.

Cosh was fired for his incompetence at his last stop. He and his scheme has cost this team several games in two years. It's ridiculous. And it's why I'll never buy in with this shitty staff.
I love Snyder, but the decision to shitcan Cosh should have been made about halfway through last season, or at least after the North Texas game. And I keep thinking that he'll be back in the same spot next year, with the first half of this season (we beat Miami, Baylor, Mizzou & Tech!) as the excuse.

My comment was strictly based on the players on the field. If we're going through a full evaluation, that's another story.

I'm debating on purchasing the K-State HD thing online, but I dont know if it's worth it or if it will let me watch a game that has already aired (like today's)

kstateoTV does do past games on demand. Schedule say they come online 2 days after the game. No live games to my knowledge(have chickball games live though).

I didn't get to see 1 second of the game. I was at a wedding. I was furiously following twitter and ESPN Scorecenter through the entire ordeal. It was heart wrenching doing that, I can't imagine watching it live.

I had to switch it over to the smaller secondary TV. Put the SEC thriller on the big screen.

Rumor floating around that Tyler Lockett is done for the year with a Kidney injury that he suffered scoring on a TD reception in the 2nd half of the OSU game.

If true, this sucks.

We'll see what happens. Only source so far is a Fitz disciple. Hell OBz was singing Locket praises during the presser an hour ago, though that doesn't mean much.
