I actually think the Rockets would've given the Bulls a very tough challenge had MJ not retired. They could've pushed them to 7 games at least. People forget those Bulls teams hardly ever got pushed to game 7.

Also, you don't really have to answer that, Dirk. My point is that number of titles are a pretty vague evaluative tool to be a "deciding factor" in something like this. And that it is a moving bar for LeBron (for some, nothing he ever does will be good enough).

I would probably go with 7 if pushed. Jordan never lost in the Finals and Montana never lost in the SB. That is what makes them great.

Jordan is still #1 in PER, points/game, 3rd in pts, 4th in FG %, 4th in win shares.
