Night before last the boy who mows my yard came up to get paid and he kinda rubbed my fingers as he took the money. Well I thought kinda strange, but maybe I was reading to much into it, until less than 5 min later I got a text that said

"Don't you get lonely sitting there all alone"

I said no my boyfriend came up almost every evening.

He then asked if I would like to see him naked...this boy is 18 years old!!!

I told him he was younger than my children and I had absolutely no interest in him naked or otherwise. I also told him to lose my number and I would be getting someone else to mow for me.

He said he was sorry and if he could still mow for me and for me to please not be mad at him.

I of course refused to let him mow and asked him to never contact me again via text, phone or in person. He lives right down below me. I now do lock my doors at all times and close every blind in the house at night. He kinda gave me the spooks. How weird can things get in this world?

The last thing anybody wants to do is put their yard tools in jeopardy due to negligence is mishandling the equipment. Again, you mishandle the tools you're gonna have a bad time.

When I was in college my buddy and I did Grounds Crew work for the local minor league baseball team. Every so often, while watering down the infield just before the first pitch, a group of old guys in the stands would holler down to my friend, "Hey Bob! Water it, don't soak it." Sound advice. Sound advice indeed.

I learned a lot about grass and grass maintenance that summer.

those mishaps happen sometimes and the worst thing you can do is stop for a cigarette and let things cool down. you got to rub some dirt on it, climb back on that horse and keep on truckin.

good sound watering techniques for sure. Those roots need their moisture. Got to find a balance of a squirt hear and there and a full out gushing flood. Sunshine too. Get that warm golden sun to hit them and spray them with a bit of water and listen. you can hear them begging for you to let your hose free and they will swallow every last drop.

I am impressed. If I didn't already have a lawn boy who does an amazing job on my lawn, I'd definitely request your information.

The key is to imitate nature as closely as possible. Morning dew ladies and gentlemen, morning dew. If done properly you may find yourselves Mounting Dew shortly thereafter.
