God Bless milkman - he nipped it in the bud. Certainly they're smart enough not to mess with him.

Peyton throws well at his passing camp
There was no rush and no coverage so it may have held no meaning. But based on zip, length and accuracy, Peyton Manning can’t throw the ball any better than he did here Saturday night. In the Air It Out exhibition, receivers run seven pass patterns from what Archie Manning described as the “route tree.” The seven routes: A 5-yard hitch, 10-yard slant, 16-yard out comeback to 14 yards, 15-yard square-in, the deep post and the go route. The 42 quarterbacks divided into two groups and went one at a time. Peyton Manning completed 7 of 8. His only incompletion was on the out. So he took another turn and threw it on the money. His square-in, deep post and go route were thrown perfectly. As Charles Davis, a college analyst for Fox and pro analyst for the NFL Network said about Manning’s performance: “”He’s starting to lock in.” http://blogs.denverpost.com/broncos/...ing-camp/14258

In all honesty from what I'm privy to, which isn't much, he looks great... It looks like he might have a few years left in the tank..
The PTs I know have told me that his injury, if healed properly, will only have a 10% increase in his probability of re-injuring the same vertebrae... So let's just hope his nerve endings aren't what they used to be, because the nerve damage could actually affect his arm strength and accuracy |

this is all speculation regarding how he will play in the regular season. Any halfway decent highschool qb can hit the routes he was hitting at 2, 10, and 16 yards with no rush and no defense. He may come back just fine and lead the donks to an afc west title. He may also show his age and his lack of continuity with a new offense and new players and being out of football for 18 months, and end up very mediocre. It is all speculative until the bullets fly. Hell, both bronco and chiefs fans ought to know that after seeing some very average qbs light it up in training camp over the past decade.

Just a reminder. People made a shop of Cassel on a cereal box because of how "Crisp" he looked in drills like these. Many a Brodie Croyle knob slobbings as well handed out for tearing up drills without a pass rush. It means jack and shit. How will he handle the pressure after being out and worried about walking again after football? That's the important thing.
