Maybe the back looks ok now but they feel it's going to be a problem again once the hitting starts again. He would pass his new team's physical but there is a certain amount of prediction that the Chiefs have that the new team wouldn't. i'm just trying understand why they might be doing this

Alex Smith is much better than Matt Cassel. The hyperbole here is ridiculous.

Hey guys Jared Gaither was said to be healthy too when we got him. It's okay he had back problems before but I'm sure he turned out well here and in San Diego!

Dwayne Bowe has stone hands (and corn rows!), why on earth did we give him a contract when we could've franchised him, traded him and taken Keenen Allen to save a few bucks.

Sounds pretty stupid to risk paying a guy you believe has a bad back 10 mil per year if someone doesn't cough up a high pick. Especially with glass QB. |

I dont think he's expendable. And i dont think thats really overpaying him. You have to overpay in the NFL. Fact. Im just not sure id pay him 9-10 mil a year with what could be potentially long term back issues. He did pass his physical. But that doesnt mean it cant flare up again and he miss several games. You do have to trust your doctors though.

Jesus Christ, Matt Cassel isnt on Alex Smith's level. Smith can lead a team to the conference championship. Cassel shits the bed constantly
