Smith is the best QB on the roster right now

If Smith goes down this year the team is ****ed. He's clearly the best QB on the roster right now.

I fear playoff teams. Regular season warriors means shit in the post season.

We can't beat playoff teams in the playoffs.

Best scenario: Alex Smith has a career year and gets us some playoff wins. Mahomes continues to develops and push Smith to be more aggressive. Next year we have a bidding contest for teams wanting to trade for Alex Smith. We have 2 starting QBs on our roster and can squeeze them for a high trade price.

We can beat the steelers but I'm not sure the win against Jarvis Landry should be evidence of anything.

Chiefs last year were ranked 13th overall in offensive efficiency.

They were ranked 10th best on passing.. and 19th on rushing.

They HAVE to get better in their efforts to score TDs when in the redzone, however.
They ranked 26th here.. and I feel there is not just the QB to blame. Andy also seemed fine with opting for FGs... relying on the D and STs too much. Hard to complain with the W/L results in the regular season... but it can't carry over to the playoffs.

But it's easy to complain about the defense, right?

And they were 10 in passing yards? Link? Or were you trying to be sneaky?

Yeah he should rely on the QB who cant throw TDs a little more. All he needs is another down and he'll get it in, baby!
