Scoring a 24 on a Wonderlic means he was a Stanford graduate that just scored a 24 on the Wonderlic. Unless you get ten extra points for just being a Stanford grad, which then means he's a dumb Stanford grad who got a 24 on the Wonderlic.

It's going to be hard for Sherman and Welker to keep their mouths shut for two weeks. I hope they get into a verbal spat so the Bronco receivers won't be whinning to the refs like the little bitches they are.

I'm of the opinion that Sherman's antics after the play and in the interview were classless, but he graduated from one of the finest universities in the nation. There is no way to downgrade that accomplishment. In fact, it's pretty damn impressive. The wonderlic is not a good measure of a person's intellect.

Who else is offended?
Why is there a reaction on a message board based in the middle of the country? And the end of the day no one should care what he said because it's not that big of a ****ing deal. And this whole idea of class or illusion of class is really ****ing annoying, anymore class just means you say cliched shit act like a robot and have no emotion. |

This is the story of the Classy Pox. The following come from tweets by @HollyAnderson:
We'd had the warning levels raised, of course. Raised all night. But our leaders were good people. Good enough to be just a bit foolish. Good enough and old-fashioned enough to believe a good night's sleep would do for an outbreak of Classy Pox. I believed our commanders, when they told us to stand down and get some shuteye as Sunday winked over the horizon. We all did. And while we slept, in barrooms and on message boards, the Classy Pox was metastasizing. And by the time America was back in our port viewfinder, the land of the free had become the henhouse of the brave. Nothing but biddies, coast to coast. Every citizen able to watch TV and draw breath was transformed into a nattering hen in human form. The elite were taken first. Athletes, artists. The executions were televised, of course, and we pulled in what signals we could from orbit. There was a sameness in the killing that we've never seen explained. Classy Pox spread by hive think, but never replicated so precisely. And we had nothing to do but watch as celebrity after celebrity was paraded up onto a grandstand to be confronted by a regional pundit. Their crimes were read aloud, by the columnist or radio host or tv weatherman designated as Class Marshal. "Explicit lyrics." "Enthusiastic touchdown dances." "Telling jokes on a Sunday." Then came what they called the Q&A. There was only ever one question, and never time for an answer. "Do you have any idea," they would ask, pressing laser pistols under chins of the accused, "the example you're setting for our children?" On it went, all that day and into the next, until there were no more role models left to disappoint them in roles they never asked for. And then a funny thing happened, as is to be expected wherever the Classy Pox takes hold: A nation beset by boils of indignation the size of silver dollars realized, in a moment of unity, that everybody's classless to somebody else. |
