Would improve the team quite a bit.

Pat Riley would be the man if he got Melo in the fold as well. To see the Bulls and Laker fans cry and whine would be even better.

By the way Wade isn't going anywhere, he is the glue behind the whole situation.

ESPN must need filler. This is so stupid it's impossible to quantify.

According to this ESPN report, the Heat are having discussions about how to get James, Wade, Bosh, and others to take pay cuts so they can sign Carmelo Anthony this offseason. Apparently James wants to play with Anthony, and it would reduce his and Wade's workload.
This would be horrible for the sport. I hope it doesn't happen.

I somewhat agree because the NBA is already a very divided league of haves and have not's.

But these all star teams rarely work out, this current Heat team being an exception.

Remember the Lakers with Shaq, Kobe, Karl Malone and Gary Payton getting stomped by the Pistons.

Malone and Payton were a shell of their former selves at that point. Same thing with Barkley and Drexler with the Rockets. With the Heat you would have all four guys 32 years old or younger.

The only difference I see is Malone and Payton were way over the hill (more so Malone) at the point in time. The only member you could argue who would not be in his prime is Wade (only due to injuries). I don't think it will happen, but I bet many people would stop watching (if it did) if that didn't think they could field a competitive team. It would be tough to compete against that Heat team.

Also I'm sure if I really tried I could find quite a few other games not on the list by Magic, Larry, Mike, The Mailman, Sir Charles, Shaq, Kobe, Dirk. Timmy and others as well. Hell, if you can tell which 1 of these performances Lebron's game 2 was better then I'd be happy.

Ready? Go!

I'd certainly take it over a few of the Jordan ones on that list. His impact on the game was just as much if not more.

That would be awesome to see. With Wade's decline and Bosh's alteration from attacking PF to being an outside spot shooter, LeBron has to completely carry this Heat team on a game to game basis just to play at an elite level (and even that sometimes isn't enough, as we saw last night). The addition of Carmelo could alleviate that in a big way. Even if you could just replace Bosh with Carmelo, it would probably be worth it.

That's what people said 4 years ago (or even before that, with the Big 3 on the Celtics). It wasn't horrible for the sport then and it isn't now.

Which ones exactly?

The 55 pt game?
The 35 in a half game?
The 38 7 and 5 flu game?
This 45 pt game with the steal from the mailman and game winning shot for the 6th title game

Which of those games did Lebron's game 2 performance surpass MJ's peformance?

Which of those 4 games will I be seeing in 10 years Lebrons 2014 game 2 NBA finals performance ranked ahead of?
