It's ironic that you mention scientists being fed money to skew information. It reminds me of.... http://www.nytimes.com/2015/02/22/us...Hock-Soon.html ...... a scientist who has accepted bribes from fossil-fuel corporations in exchange for falsifying scientific research.

But again, if I'm going to argue a point, I'm actually going to do research to validate my argument. I'm also going to use trusted experts in a field who have nothing to gain monetarily or politically by having their view accepted as fact.

Yep, scientists have to feed their kids too... Give them some money they give you the answer you need.

Please don't make me go outside and start my lawn mower to speed-up this whole deal. If I let it run all night, we might get 3.3mm of ocean-rise this year...

Yeah, saw on Facebook a post by some sort of storm watch group predicting "several dozen and up to 80 tornadoes"...

As a degreed but non-practicing-other-than-hobby meteorologist, my reaction was: "fear-hyping bullshit"... Same with this "weatherman" guy.
