WTF are you even talking about? Only a dumbass like you thinks this has a ****ing thing to do with race.

And there is only 1 driving factor when it comes to players going to teams anyway and you know what it is.

You would have to make it "0" guaranteed money and an "at will" employment status to even consider resigning him.

If I'm Veach I'm paying close attention to new coaches/GM's across the league. Get your notes out from the 2017 draft, see which guys you really liked and call the new staff to see if they would like to trade, especially if they are changing schemes.

This worked beautifully with Reggie Ragland. Dorsey would be a good connection to utilize this in Cleveland.

A bumper crop of good CBs were picked up in 2016 FA. FA can be full of nice surprises and is generally fruitful for the smart GM. Will be praying for Veach.

The guy's effort has been questionable at best all season. Lots of distractions and headaches. Who knows what he is like within the building?

With almost the entire offense set to return in 2018, it would be a good time to make such a move. Recoup a pick or two in the draft, commit to rebuilding the defense with the newfound cap space and picks.
What does it actually cost to send him walking?

VS put him on IR till playoffs when if he's not in the game trade him?

My best guess for his value would be a high 2nd round pick from either the Colts or the Browns (if Dorsey lands there).

Dorsey will steal him from us if it comes to that deal happening. Dorsey isn't an idiot. He will want to **** Clark and Andy and I bet he does it dammed well.

I would find some enjoyment in that, if they have to get rid of him.

Of course, the best case is for him to learn from the suspension and come back to the Chiefs, the player he is capable of being.

I hate losing the experience he has gained but the status quo will not work.

Absolutely. I agree we would all rather see him just cut the shit and get back to business.

Player B wasn’t ejected as has been famously pointed out, but gets suspended by the team. Seems simple as that to me.
You are only seeing what you want to see.

You are missing the part about him leaving the field of play without being ejected.

You obviously don't understand the concept of team.

But go ahead, enjoy your victim bull shit.

Exactly, and you know that has been what Andy has been hoping for all along until he had no choice.

It would be really cool if he comes back mad and focused, wanting to prove he is the best again.

Do you think that Peters thought he was ejected?

He walked off the field and stopped to give his gloves or something to a fan while being escorted by a member of the Chiefs staff. I think there was general confusion about him being ejected or not. Why wasn't there any assistant or staff member trying to talk to him about NOT being ejected? Why did he run back onto the field without socks?

I was listening the game (Jets radio) and the announcers were surprised when Peters came back out. They thought he had been ejected.

Yes and Yes. Pretty sure everyone here would be glad to keep Peters if he straightens out his behavior and plays with effort and conviction. Can't blame folks for being skeptical with his history. "Show me."

A lot of folks dogged Kelce when he was showboating & acting a fool to the team's detriment. Now that he's not committing silly penalties and producing on the field (big time), he's not getting the fans' ire. Same could be true for Peters.

Yep, it was to the point where you knew Kelce was going to **** up
with a penalty and you were waiting for a flag to come.

When it didn't happen it was a relief.

But he has been a saint for quite a few games now. Reid got through to him obviously. Fingers crossed it works the same with Peters.
