And with Schrager being so well connected and basically a KC advocate in the media, the fact that he's saying they are going to trade up for Mims leads me to believe there is no way in living hell they plan on picking him.

Unless I've completely misunderstood the tweet, think he means they've made a lot of calls with folks at Georgia. Which given the lack of starting time and injury history I don't see as being too farfetched.

I read the tweet as, they know they have to move up for Mims and thus are making a lot of calls to teams regarding a potential trade up.

Any calls made to Georgia woulda been done well, well before today.

For sure. But then again, those calls could be "hey, let's make 100% sure that this perfect LT specimen really is going to be as injury prone as it seems. He is? Okay, sad but let's move on."
