It would be odd, IMO, if Ahsoka is alive in Rebels but not seen in Rogue One. |

I've been digging around looking at the concept of a "Grey Jedi" on a few sites. Mainly because I love to torture myself by imagining an entire storyline in my head that can't possibly play out in the movies, but I'm having fun with it. It's not something I'm familiar with because I was never interested enough in anything other than the movies themselves. Is Luke a Grey Jedi? If not at least by the end of the original three movies, is he now?

Maybe they could do a spinoff dark themed show? Keep Kanan and Hera for the Rebels, and delve into a story about Ezra's beginnings with the dark side? Probably not a Disney channel offering, but I really liked the novels I've read that told stories from the other side (Dark Disciple and Tarkin so far). Would love to see a show or movie from this perspective.

Finally started season 2 of Rebels last night. Got through three episodes. It's pretty awesome.
One thing I don't like in the Disney takeover of the SW universe: the way they just keep uncorking and unveiling new races. I mean, there were already so many established races that covered the spectrum of cultures and such. Now they've brought out like two or three new races for the inquisitors, not to mention the Lasats. It just starts to feel disjointed after a while to keep unveiling new ones. Edit: actually I see that the Grand Inquisitor is a preexisting race of Pau-an. Not sure about the new one that got introduced in episode 3?

ep 8 pushed back to Dec 15 next year. Speculation is that it's purely financial, to wreck the box office again. Not any production related thing

Yeah, that too. Snoke is supposed to be taking him for more training after the events of this movie as I recall.

Maybe you have some information I don't, but I just don't believe that. A few week production delay for a script rewrite doesn't justify a 7-month push back of the release date. I think it's strategic.
Not that it matters in the end, it's not coming out until next December either way. |

Add to that (as I did in the Episode VIII thread), going up against Avatar 2 isn't the smartest move from a marketing standpoint, IMO, which further belies the necessity of the re-write to get it "right". Rogue One is undergoing another re-write as well. I don't know how they're going to be ready for December 2016, unless there's very little VFX. |

Yeah, I know about all the rewrites.
This might actually be a sign that we're about to hear about yet another delay for Avatar 2. |
