I don't care if it's intentional or just a by product of your painful stupidity. 90% of what you post makes me want to hurt someone.

Green Bay has a great QB and a shit defense. The Giants have a great QB and a shit team (so far). The 49ers have been a joke all the way around. The defense is ahead of the offense for one simple reason: Since 2005, the Chiefs have chosen a defensive player with their first pick of the draft seven times. They've chosen an offensive player three times, one of which is no longer with the team and the other is a non-skill position player. Second round and later round defensive players have also made more of an impact than their offensive counterparts. The worst part is that after years of drafting offensive lineman, tight ends and a few wide receivers, the Chiefs are lacking talent on the offensive line, tight end and WR position. |

Especially with a guy who's supposed to be one of the most accurate passers under ten yards. Just throw him a decent ball and he's going to come away with it 9/10. He fights for balls and gets them. And once he does; he gets YAC. It should be a match made in heaven, but I suppose Avery is our secret weapon this year? No complaints there. I'm glad to have a somewhat viable #2; but Bowe isn't getting paid to be a ****ing decoy out there. Or at least I hope that isn't the plan. If he's drawing double teams I can see looking away. Is that really the case? Is Bowe double covered nearly every passing play? Don't think so. |

Well then, put me on ignore and save someone a black eye.. or save yourself from going to prison. I won't hold it against you. I am not saying anything wrong. People here just can't seem to handle any type of criticism, and tend to exaggerate everything into epic proportions. Nothing I can do about that.

His numbers after 3 games are similar to 3 other seasons talk about the overreaction of the century.

Charles did have issues in the Eagles game. Thats why Reid was reaming his ass. I watched all offensive snaps of the Eagles game again last night. Smith had about 2 or 3 head scratchers out of 78 offensive plays. Albert lined up improperly 2 times, Fisher was called for holding and was beat like a drum all the first half and the run blocking was horrendous. The OL had 6 total penalties. We completed 3 3rd and more than 10 yard conversions and were 0-3 on 3rd and 1 running the ball. You only see what you want to see. Keep talking about people making excuses when you cant even objectively look at whats actually happening in a game. |

I think we can live with that. We done with this dazzling display of communication now, or is there more you would like to talk about with someone you don't care about? That it? Oookay. Bye now?

I think there's a lot more talent on this unit than people realize. This isn't the days of Chris Thomas and Snoop Minnis. They just have to find a way to get it all together. Getting Fasano and/or Kelce back will help. Assuming that ever actually happens. |

That being said - he's not been very reliable this year. I don't think he has an official drop yet, but I've seen 4 balls that really should've been caught go off his hands so far this year, including the first 2 that went his way in the Eagles game. Meanwhile, Avery's bringing in those passes in traffic; the 3rd down from the endzone being the most obvious example. It's on Smith to some degree in that he has to work on trusting Dwayne Bowe - the guys bonafides are apparent to all. At some point he's going to have to just go with the resume. But at the same time, Bowe's simply not done as much to earn Smith's trust to this point as Avery has and I think that's why you see Smith looking to Avery a little more. I'm not worried - Smith's a smart cat and he'll figure out that he has a very large man he can throw to who will get it, run a guy over and rumble for another 15-20 yards. But the chemistry hasn't clicked yet because so far, those plays just aren't coming together.

If Smith had "forced" the ball to his receivers instead of making smart decisions, this team could easily be 1-2. But because Smith didn't force the ball to his receivers or make stupid errors, penalties or interceptions, he's played "scared". Yet, the Chiefs are 3-0. Dumb. |
