Exodus, Part 2, the 4th episode of season 3. It's one of the best episodes in the series, including some of the best special effects you'll ever see (including on the big screen).

They've dealt with that issue throughout the entire run of the series. And the introduction of Pegasus was a convenient way for the writers to add Vipers and some parts...

If it's Earth now, sure. It could be even worse, say, Earth 2000 years ago. Or maybe they arrive at a future Earth. That's one of the questions I doubt we'll get an answer to before the final episode of the series.

Earth is several hundred years behind in technology. How is it going to help with the Cyclons on their tails?

thanks again.
I really hesitate to tell you too much because its appearance on the scene (and its exit) was a very satisfying (if not unexpected) moment in the series. But since you now know its fate, it was destroyed around episode 4 of season 3.

There was a mention in one of the episodes about facilities to build new vipers, but IIRC it might have been on the Pegasus.

There has never been any indication that if/when they find Earth it will be present day ... opening up all kinds of possibilities for the Colonials and/or the Cylons to play a role in Earth's ancient history or its future within the timeline of the series.

As far as the vipers, I think there have been references to a "foundry ship" in the fleet.

I'm glad I'm not stuck on the Sewage Ship recon mission. Blech.

Heh. As soon as Cavil started rambling about the Raiders just being tools I thought "All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again".

My favorite line from the episode:

Roslin: Diloxin fraks up your aim.
Adama: So does doubt.

Well that and Lee's comment to Dualla..."Looks like you get the house".

Zarek got Lee to fill the vacant spot on the council? Who was Caprica's representative after Baltar stepped down?

I like this emerging storyline with the cylons. The old toasters rebelled against their human masters for reasons not entirely clear - I'll assume they felt "mistreated" by their humans, and now the new model cylons are rebelling against their new "human like" masters for definitely being mistreated. I wonder where this is leading?

Now that the centurions can think for themselves, I'm waiting to hear one of them say "By your command", in a new updated voice.

And Natalie (The New 6) to demand a really tall throne to sit on! Unlike the original "Imperious Leader" puppet, she looks good enough the Producer won't insist on leaving it in heavy shadows.

I'm hoping an IL series shows up. I miss "Lucifer" from TOS. Nothing like a smarmy robot.

And don't forget we still have the independent old model cylons introduced in Razor.

Wiki is great!!!

After an hour of reading, I'm caught up enough until I can take the time to watch seasons 1-3.

The writing is much tighten that Gen 1 series. Can you imagine being one of the 4 cyclons and not knowing if you're a walking time bomb??

How may episodes are left??

Yeah, I hope there's some more of those guys floating around out there. Were those in Razor destroyed, or were hey still chasing after Pegasus?

Another thought -

The cylon hybrid kept babbling on about not destroying this and that, then would say "end of line". Is it possible (conceivable) that the hybrids are receiving "messages" from the fifth, buried somewhere in the fleet?

(And an observation - at Lee's going away party, on the wall in one of the frames is a set of Air Force Staff Sergeant stripes, up with awards and medals)

Good catch and theory. It's either that or our old friend from Tron is up to some new tricks.

End of line.

You are an uber geek of monumental proportions, with recall unheard of for anything 80's sci-fi related. Well done!

I now temporarily hijack the Battlestar talk for a blast from the past....
