He had 4 1st quarter shots and all of them after a switch and none against Leonard.
Actually, LeBron has evolved his game to push further and further away from that for obvious reasons. Volume scoring is not his game, nor should it be with as well as he facilitates the ball. Taking more difficult shots at a lower percentage over getting his teammates wide open shots wouldn't have won either of those games (and as I said, would have been exactly what Pop wanted him to do). It would also just be going back to what didn't work in the Heat's first season when LeBron and Wade weren't playing together well with a lot more ISO ball.

KC_Connection you're obviously delusional if you still believe Lebron matches up to MJ. Just be happy Ray Allen bailed your boy out last year or else he'd be 1-4 in the finals and his legacy would be even more tarnished. Also, if you don't agree that he disappears for quarters at a time in big games you're really out of your mind.

Not sure how LeBron is better in every other way but scoring. MJ was selected to the all-defensive first team 9 times, a four way tie for most all time. MJ was the whole package. He intended on doing so. His goal going into the league was to do it on the defensive side not just on O.

The fact that you would phrase it as Ray Allen "bailing out" LeBron when he was the best player in the series by far tells me all I need to know. Well that and the fact that you're a Bulls fan who has a vested interest in maintaining MJ's legacy and have already said you actively root against LeBron as a result of that interest.

This is a point I was going to make, but it's pointless. If this guy really believes the shit he's spewing then I don't want to go too far into it. Only a Lebron homer of epic proportions still believes that he's on MJ's level. Where's Lebron's great defense been in the finals?

LeBron is arguably the best defensive player in the NBA and an elite defender at four different positions. There can be no questioning his defense (although that certainly won't stop some haters from doing so).

Bullshit. He's not even the best defender in the finals right now. Leonard is. He's the most versatile, but that doesn't mean he's the best.

Watching his washed up/shell teammates can picked apart by excellent execution and precision passing. You're right, though, it's totally his fault that he's not five starters and a bench and a coach. I don't know what got into him.

You think Leonard is a better defender than LeBron James? Seriously?

Even less of a reason to take your MJ blinded opinion seriously.

Reading through this thread, I wonder if KC C is related to Lebron.....other than "delusional" that is the most likely scenario.

So he's a better defender, but he's just being outplayed by Leonard in that area in this series? Bc that is undisputable. I've watched Lebron get worked by guys like Leonard and Joe Johnson in the playoffs. His defense is overrated. Versatility does not make him the best.

Yep, totally delusional not to blame LeBron for his teammates not being good enough. I should just join in the groupthink hater brigrade like everyone else, it would be far easier.

Everywhere he goes his teammates aren't good enough. I see a theme here. I'm sick of the excuses. Like I said one of those teammates bailed him out in last years finals.

LeBron has been the best player in the series as usual. And by quite a considerable margin too. He's averaging 27.5 points on 70 percent true shooting, which is an insane level of efficiency. Hasn't mattered one bit because the Spurs are a basketball machine.

You're really bashing LeBron's defense now? I've got to say, that's a new one for me. Even the unintelligent LeBron haters (and there are quite a lot) know better than to attack that area of his game.
