The team doesn’t play with fire and that isn’t Russ though he’s been off. George is a great defender but he takes more bad shots than Melo. Russ is actually way down on usage it’s more George and Melo do the same. Just isn’t clicking and it’s hard to watch. Russ carried a team to the playoffs last year and has lived there. Melo and George not so much. Playing Roberson and Adams who can’t shoot jumpers doesn’t exactly work with 3 iso heavy guys. Either gotta change the way you play or blow it up. The Cavs will no doubt start lounging again at some point this season, though, and some will panic when they do. |

NBA is boring as long as the Warriors are on top with that said I enjoyed the **** out of watching the 76ers at Sprint Center. Embiid is my favorite player and that's saying something because I really hate KU.

Let me ask you this NBA fans where will Embiid rank assuming he stays healthy and plays 10-15 years. One of the greatest big men right?

LeBron IS the greatest i've ever seen, only because I'm too young to remember Jordan.

Not me. I'd definately give the nod to MJ. A different era with arguably better players and different game back then. I dont thik LeBron would dominate in Jordan's era like he does today, but I believe that MJ would in todays NBA for sure.. Dont want to start a war over this - nobody ever wins a "Whose Better ?- MJ or LeBron.." argument. However, having seen both play, for their entire careers, IMO MJ was better.

I left out perhaps the best two in Chamberlin and Russell becauae I was too young to remember them play.

Lakers hung tough, kept battling back and were a Brandon Ingram roller that hung on the rim just long enough to fall off from winning that one at the close of regulation.
Even then, if they'd have just managed to snag one of TWO possible defensive rebound attempts in the final 15 seconds of OT, they'd have had the ball with a chance to win and the last possession. Instead, they gave up two offensive boards and the Warriors were able to close it out at the line. Tough game from the pups. This is a pretty natural development arc - young team is shitty. Young team is game but still not good because they can't peg the effort they need every night and play down at the wrong times. Young team is actually decent but can't close just yet because that takes experience. Young team finally reaches the level of 'good enough to be a tough out in the post-season'. They're a year away from that level even with their present roster, IMO. That's where the next step usually needs be made - 'young team adds key veterans around cohesive core that makes them go from tough out, to genuine contender'. Even if they don't get LeBron, I think Paul George is coming. With his defensive chops and shooting ability, he's essentially a super-charged KCP and he'll be a great fit to help Ball. George, Ingram, Kuzma and Ball is a pretty damn good 1-4 that by the end of next season could be a pesky post-season team. Obviously LeBron would change the ceiling there but still, the Lakers are slowly coming around a bit.

That's how I'd rank them.
