I hate to bump an old thread but I wanted to update my situation and let people know what I did.
I got a Harman Lexicon Alpha DAW for Christmas. It was a gift but I found them on Amazon for about $50, so I'm sure that's where she got it. It came with Steinberg CuBase LE 5 (mixing and recording software). I downloaded some free amp sims and cabinet impulses and I'm SUPER impressed so far. In fact, I'm using CuBase with an Orange amp head and Celstion 4x12 cabinet as my PRACTICE AMP to just sit here and play. Quote:

Healy was simply BAD ASS! RIP man I just listened to the See The Light album last week. See The Light would be on my "stuck on an island list of songs", possibly my favorite song EVER. it just tears it up.

I traded some of my gear that I never use anymore for a Zoom C5.1t ASIO unit. It's basically the same as the Lexicon Alpha but also includes 5 programmable foot switches and a programmable expression pedal. So now I not only have the ability to sim amps and cabinets, I can sim stomp boxes and pedal effects too. So awesome. |

Glad you like em. Bands like TBR and the Lillingtons are true pop punk because they stick to the ramones formula of making simple catchy songs.
