LeBron James would be better than Dwayne Bowe. No question.

And how many NBA players have transitioned to the NFL? We know you'll say, "why should they, they all make more coin in the NBA," but there might be more to it than that. Perhaps they know they can't.

Have you ever thought that if they thought they could, after that first $200M was in the bank that maybe, JUST MAYBE, one of them would like the shorter game-season offered by the NFL (and much less on-the-road time too), and have tried it? Just one of the thousands of NBA players who are all better athletes than NFL players? Lord knows they'd be amongst the best players in the NFL and draw HUGE paychecks.. So why so few??

For one play, then he'd be in traction for years. That's the other point...

Labron and Mookie Wilson will takeover the NFL next year!!!!

you answered your own question

and NFL seasons are FAR MORE GRUELING than NBA seasons...and it's not close

and even if they drew HUGE NFL paychecks...they still wouldn't compare to their GUARANTEED NBA paychecks

I mean...you're making a stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid ****ing argument here.

I've already laid out the ABSOLUTE FACTS regarding any point you're trying to make here 5 times:

1) NBA players make far more money. Rashard Lewis makes $118M guaranteed. Tom Brady makes $57M guaranteed.

2) NBA players have MUCH longer careers.

3) NBA players lead much happier post career lives (in terms of health issues)

you can't make THAT argument

the only argument you can make is the physicality argument

which is fine; at least you can debate that

you can't debate that any NBA caliber player would choose the NFL because they wouldn't.

and that is why I can safely say there is no NFL player that could make an NBA team. Not one. I'm 100% sure on that.

so LeBron would get hit one time and his NFL career would be over

but smaller guys like DeSean Jackson can take the pounding no problem

why? riddle me that.

WHY CAN DESEAN JACKSON WITHSTAND THE BEATING OF AN NFL SEASON BUT LEBRON JAMES, A MAMMOTH OF A MAN, COULD NOT?

What is your logic behind that one?

It's basically admitting to being wrong.

"yeah I know LeBron is really athletic, is super quick and can jump really high...but there is no way he could take a hit over the middle! No way at all. It could never happen! I mean, I know DeSean Jackson is a successful NFL receiver who is 5'10" and 170 lbs. but he's been playing football a long time so he can take a hit over the middle but LeBron couldn't! Nope. No way!"

yeah

ha

great logic

Other than walking erect, not really.... No more than many many other players... I'll take your Lebron James, and raise you Zach Greinke (he can tackle doodes like a mother****er!)...

Glad to know that you can speak with absolute certainty about the choices made by every NBA caliber athlete in America. You can't be more than 23 years old.

so you'd turn down an executive job that paid you $500,000 per year for a job in the coal mines that takes years off your life and pays you $60K but works you 80 hours per week

GOT IT

Yes, because that's the same thing as choosing to be rich or filthy rich.

It's more than a fair comparison.

NFL careers are FAR shorter and pay 1/5 as much, on average, per yearly basis.
