I've been singing the praises of In the Loop since June. It is my favorite film of 2009.

I knew you weren't. I only quoted you to put the other quote into context.

I've been aware of it, certainly. But Netflix doesn't carry it and I haven't found a full series torrent.

so what'd the others think of Babylon A.D. ? I could NOT believe that I enjoyed it. LOL, every once in a while you get surprised, which is cool.

I watched the director's cut of Zodiac on Blu-rat tonight. Jesus, Fincher -- could you have made the pacing of your cut any more languid?

I haven't seen the Director's Cut, but the theatrical version of Zodiac was fantastic. Absolutely great movie. And the pacing there was particularly notable. If I recall, it was something like 2 hours and 45 minutes, but there was never a dull moment.

It really sticks upon subsequent viewings that the running time, even on the theatrical cut, really is too long. That's about the only flaw that movie has, though; its pretty darn underrated.

True Romance is outstanding, one of the most under appreciated films of the last 25 years. As with most things written by Tarantino there is great dialog throughout.
