Hell, I was at a Kansas fan's March Madness party last weekend, and they were openly pulling for all the Big 12 teams. The Texas message boards...pull for the Big 12 (even though they nearly all want out). The KU guys on 610 and 810 have all been lamenting the Big 12's performance.

2-5 in bowl games...humiliated in the tournament...only conference left out of the playoff...

I kind of feel bad for TCU. They were sold a bill of goods.
I don't feel bad for West Virginia, after they were so thoroughly bitchslapped last night following their trash talk. The Daily News led off with "You don't tug on Superman's cape"

You can hardly blame them though. They probably bought in to the steady stream of hype about the Big XII-II this year... which turned out to be just that, hype.

How did I miss this one? I feel like I've seen this or at least should've seen it but can't recall seeing it. Maybe it's the way you described the pathetic-ness of it that seems so new. That's hilarious!

Tell us more about how Oklahoma destroyed Alabama in that bowl game again. Or don't since you likely don't have the info, seeing how you don't cheer for your conference and all that.

Shit packed in by a small school in your home state that you've been too afraid to play. You beakers had to have been frightened to see them pop up on your line as a seven...now we know why. Cbs announcing team lecturing and laughing at you for being cowards on national tv....ouch

It's so weird seeing tee shirts celebrating a regular season win. It's so foreign to me, and I can't imagine who buys such items. (Well actually I can.....)

No you just storm the field, rip out the goal posts, and throw them in the pond after beating a shit Clone team.

Regular season wins are pretty foreign for your team so t-shirts are the least of your worries.

Regular season wins are indeed foreign to some parts of your athletic department.

You have no idea what it's like to be targeted.

Next there will again be high expectations for Kansas and there will be countless teams taking aim and trying their best to take down the King.

WSU had their Super Bowl last week and for them once they beat KU the season was over. Victory was declared... there was nothing else to do.

Who exactly targets Mizzou? You never beat anyone with winning conf records so eeking out victories over terrible programs to inflate your record does what exactly for you?

The experts and pollstars still know your program is garbage. Hence why you're never invited to any major bowls. It's a simple walk-through for any team that plays you.

When CBS shows Missouri playing in the SEC Championship game it isn't broadcast like a game. It's an informercial for the other team. There's only one team that's going home with the trophy. Everyone knows it's not going to be you.

Those old KU fan warhorses. "The King". "This was their Super Bowl". "We get everyone's A++ game". "Fall back on comparing ourselves to Missouri". I mean, we're really only missing "we beat ourselves" to have a post-loss bingo.
