Looks like Soccer started yesterday officially.

China is 13 hours ahead of Central time. So most of the live coverage will be middle of the night. Alot of NBC's primetime coverage will be tape delayed.

Looking at the judo schedule, looks like we have one american tomorrow in the men's half lightweight division, match scheduled about 11:42am our time. Probably have to watch it online because LOL USA martial arts.

On the bright side, there's handball on. It's like indoor soccer or lacrosse, only a million times less difficult.

Penalty shots are pretty awesome, though. Instead of being six yards away and kicking a ball at a big net, you're standing like four feet away and throwing the ball right at the goalie who's blocking a smaller net.

watching the fencing replay on tv, this is a lot better with commentators explaining rules instead of just a net cam.

Apparently that whole annoying screaming thing is intended to try to convince the ref that you scored on a close call, since you only have 2 challenges in a match to force a video review.

Ahh, now I see why they didnt do this live. These three matches with the USA women were actually going on simultaneously, I had to pick only one to watch. Now though these announcers can watch the tapes back to back and pretend they are calling live matches, showing all three on TV.
