NFL MVP
Interesting debates on these every year, here's one from ESPN.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12...demarco-murray Peyton, Rodgers, Brady, Murray, Watt, Luck... Where would you guys lean? I don't know, part of me tends to lean towards Murray quite honestly. I think Peyton's crazy 2013 year hurts the image of what he's done in 2014, especially when compared against the other QBs that are getting all the MVP talk. Peyton's right there with them. Aside from all that, I think it's a pretty even race among the QBs in the discussion... I wouldn't give it Watt, I think my vote with be DeMarco. |

If Nelson ever misses a significant amount of time and Rodgers struggles consistently then we may be able to say that.. But he hasn't so we can't. We have seen Brady without Gronk and that's an ugly sight. |

I'm tired of them pimping up Watt's TD totals blah blah blah
Those 1 yard TD catches mean NOTHING. NOTHING. It's a stupid ploy to make him look more like an MVP candidate. He's definitely the DPOY. He's not more valuable to his team than Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or even DeMarco Murray. |

What the hell are you talking about? Brady without Gronk has been to the Super Bowl. If you mean the beginning of this year, there was a lot more wrong with the Patriots offense than just Gronk needing to get back up to par.

Back when they, according to you, had an all-time elite defense? Or are you talking about the time they beat the Ravens to get to the Super Bowl a few years ago when Brady was absolutely abysmal in the AFCCG and the Ravens, with Joe ****ing Flacco, were two Lee Evans' dropped TD's from beating the Patriots because Tom Brady was so wretched that game? Or are you talking about 2007 when Brady had Randy Moss, who turned in the greatest season a receiver has ever turned in, an ABSOLUTE ELITE OFFENSIVE LINE, Wes Welker and Donte "I used to be good" Stallworth? Seriously. What year are you talking about? I really want to know. Their last Super Bowl ... please ... since you Patriots fans are SO QUICK to point out the Peyton Manning Super Bowl year his 3:7 TD ratio despite the fact he only had 1 bad game (WC against KC where that game was won before it started) ... PLEASE try and defend Brady's PISS POOR, WRETCHED effort against the Ravens at New England? I NEED TO KNOW WHY TOM BRADY GETS PASSES FOR HIS 10+ YEAR OF POSTSEASON INEPTITUDE? He hasn't had a single good postseason in YEARS. He's played FAR BELOW his regular season numbers for like 9 postseasons in a row. He's constantly been owned by Joe Flacco, Mark Sanchez and yes, Peyton Manning. Why does Tom Brady get a pass anymore? I have to know this? If Peyton Manning is a choker, which he may be ... Tom Brady equals him as a choker as well. |

Brady without Gronk, Rodgers without Nelson, Manning without Thomas...
You can do that all day. I simply don't think any of those QBs has set themselves that far apart (across the board of whatever area you want to judge them) from the others. Rodgers had a slow start, Brady had a few off weeks and Manning has been off his stats greatness the last few weeks. They've all been pretty equally consistent though YTD. Again, only reason I say that no QB is the MVP at this point and would look at Murray.

Murray has been fantastic, but Id argue that Dallas has a better chance of winning without Murray than NE, Denver, or GB would have without their QBs.

Take Manning away and Denver wins four. My vote goes to Rodgers though.

Might find out this week... but obviously, a team can replace a really good RB (esp in an offense that has Romo, Bryant, etc) than a top team with an elite QB could do should they be forced to go to a #2 QB.

I think it goes to Rodgers over Watt. The Texans are probably not making the playoffs while the Pack look to be the team to beat in the NFC. QBs are the media darlings and will get the nod over a defensive player.

I guess what I'd be looking for is what separates any of those QBs from the others this year in regards to the MVP race? They're all equally consistent. They all dominate 1-2 areas of the key statistical categories. Two have 11 wins and two have 10 wins. All but Luck (2) has at least 3 road losses, Rodgers has 4. Packers are the only one that have not won their division yet, they're tied with the Lions. And, you're a moron.

It's 2014 (almost 2015). It's simple.
A QB wins the MVP. SOMETIMES a RB or WR can win OPOY. and the best defensive guy gets DPOY. Get used to it. |

No way watching the games I can vote for Murray or WAtt over Rodgers. Not a chance in hell.
