But it's a moot point, because we all know what the true supreme being is.

First, 95% of people have been wrong before. Flat earth etc.

Second, it's nowhere near 95%. Even if you ignore the fights over which God to worship, you still don't get to 95% because a number of religions dont' really have "A" specific God at all. Buddhism being the major example.

The point I was getting at is he's throwing around labels of people being whackjobs for believing in God...but of course HE'S not a whack job, no sir. He's sane, and the rest of the world is crazy.

You can get into semantics all you want but I'd bet better than 80% of the world believes in something more that just "human existence for no purpose other than a great cosmic accident". SO calling the rest of the world stupid or crazy or whatever just because you can't wrap your mind around these beliefs is...the hight of snobbishness at best. Which is typical of atheists.

...everyone else is nuts except them...they're the ONLY ones who are sane...

Assuming you're referring to the canard about medieval times, the "flat earth" argument is a myth. I hate to be so lazy as to cite Wikipedia, but this just isn't high enough on my radar to look further for more cites right now:
