You might.

I would NOT be surprised to see Tennessee beat the Ravens.

I'm not calling my shot, I'm not predicting it, but I can totally see it happening.

I would literally rather play the Ravens than the Titans.

I think Lamar is one dimensional and as a PASSING QB Tannehill is better.

And Derrick Henry is a ****ing beast.

As much as I want the Lamar Hunt trophy raised in Arrowhead, the Chiefs road record this year was outstanding.

The Ravens strength defensively is the secondary, which is still filled with players like Peters who will NOT tackle Henry. Baltimore is also coming off of a long stretch of rest, and what about Mark Ingram?

I would run outside to Peters side. You could basically unblock him and man up on others to outnumber them as Peters will make any Mexican Bullfighter proud.

Of the 3 teams that could have won this weekend and went on to face the Ravens, the Titans are the team beat suited to beating the Ravens. I think that they pull it off and make both the Patriots and Ravens one and done playoff teams. Unfortunately, I think that they are also the team that has the best chance to beat the Chiefs. But, this is our year. Chiefs will beat the Titans in Arrowhead and advance to the Superbowl.

Yeah, I’m not so sure about that. Titans are playing pretty well right now, can run the ball, and play good disciplined rush D. If the Titans can control the ball, this will be a game.

I agree with your post but what is in bold, history says otherwise up to this point. Just because "we think" it is our year, so do the Titans and Ravens and of these teams one of them have beaten us 3x in recent years with one of those victories in the playoffs with Mariota in our house(yeah Kelce got hurt and Smith crawled under a rock in the 2nd half) But even with those things occurring to us IF we were a good physical team at that time we would have still won that game. The big reason the Titans could erase a big deficit like they did was their physicality of which we IMHO can't even come close to matching especially in the trenches.

It is because of our lack of physicality in the trenches that teams can run on us and have turned Pat into a "check down Sally" this season. When you can't run block or pass block against very physical teams this is what happens. Their defenses can play back and take away the big deep pass threat because they are very physical up front. Pat doesn't get time to make the big throws downfield near as much and when we a need to "Marty Run" to keep the defense honest, we can't do it.

Likewise the other team we have beaten 2x in our house and will be motivated to get that "monkey of their back" especially in our house knowing they could go to the SB. I don't like any of these matchups but if I had to choose I will take the Ravens because of history and Spags scheming of alternating spies on Lamar and Mahomes taking it out on Peters is another. I don't want anything to do with the Titans at this point.

I have bitched and bitched and bitched about our 'lack of physicality' along our o and d lines since Andy has gotten here. As much as I want to see us win there is a very good chance that "chicken will have come home to roost". Yes our defense has gotten much better but they still are not near Derrick Henry proof. Just saying.

No, I'm just curious to watch the games play out. I think if the Chiefs bring their A game, they will beat anyone.

A few things work in our favor...mahomes will truly be 100%. He understandably made a few business decisions vs the titans. Still can’t understand not rostering Pennel vs Derrick Henry. A healthy Fisher is a huge upgrade . I’m hoping wisniewski too. Also.. much rather see a game at home vs a team who’s had no rest vs the ravens, who also had a bye this week.

I also think tannehill caught the chiefs a little off guard. He’s been better than anyone could have expected. But yeah , I kinda agree that I’d rather see the ravens.

You make some valid points BUT a team whose been on the road with no rest who has just beaten BB in Foxborough and hypothetically let's say has shut down Lamar in his house(I'm calling it now for the Titans to win) now coming to Arrowhead where they have won 3x of which one of those victories have been in the playoffs here, makes an unquenchable hunger and the thought of destiny winning the SB inevitable in their minds and hearts. Lack of rest and being on the road WILL NEVER STOP HOPE AND BELIEF IN ONE'S ABILITY IF THEY KNOW THEY CAN WIN IT ALL !! Just ask the '83' Raiders.

So now the real question becomes WHOSE HOPE AND BELIEF IS NOT ONLY BIGGER BUT MORE REAL?

CHIEFS or TITANS ?

Sure, but the pats didn’t have a bye week. And there’s no team that needed it more because they’re geriatric. We will be somewhat fresh if we play the titans while Tennessee gets pounded by two physical playoff teams. Especially significant since Derrick Henry, adoree Jackson and others are fighting through injury. We’ll be healthy (knock on wood) and they won’t be which is a total 180 from our first matchup.
