That's possible, I guess. I'm not sure you can see Russia from there, though.
However, I also note that the SS Grayback submarine visited the island in 1959. Why would they visit this island? Did they drop off a mutinous crew member? Did they set up a top secret observation post? Did they forget about one red-shirted member of the landing party?
