If for anything else the Chiefs won't move because Clark is a penny pincher and the costs to maintain a franchise out there in LA would be much much more than in KC.

Also, I don't care if the team sucks for the rest of my life. I want them in Kansas City. For better or worse. This city and fanbase will support the hell out of this football organization, as long as they A) actually TRY to win football games and B) put together the best collection of players they can. Right now, that isn't happening. Yesterday they played NOT TO LOSE, and they aren't putting the best QB on the field that they can. And really, the only issue I have with the players is the QB position. I'm quite ok with every other move that has been made. Yeah it sucks that we wasted such high draft picks on Dorsey and Jackson, and possibly even Poe, but I'm ok with some misses. Just CORRECT YOUR MISTAKES.

Not me. If I'm a fan of a team and my owner's #1 goal isn't to win a championship then I would prefer he moves.

Get a guy in here who does have that goal. You'll get to that championship a heck of a lot faster.

My loyalty is tied to Kansas City. Not the Chiefs.

I'm not saying I want an owner who doesn't have the goal of winning a Super Bowl. I want that too. I'm just saying I want the team in KC, whether they strike out or not on that goal.

If you think the future of NFL football in Kansas City would be improved by the Chiefs moving to LA, you're a ****ing moron.

Los Angeles has been without an NFL franchise for 18 years. If Kansas City lost its NFL franchise, we won't be getting another team in our lifetimes.

Los Angeles hasn't had an NFL caliber stadium. Kansas City would have one ready to go.

How's that NBA/NHL caliber arena working out for Kansas City?

Well I disagree with this part. But if you want to continue to be held captive because you perceive there to be no other option possible, go ahead.

I don't see it that way. Don't get me wrong. Do I want it to happen? No. I'd like to see this team get there someday. But if it did would I be crushed? Not one bit. I think another team would come here... Or I would just be wrong and could choose to pick another team to follow that cares more.

You are wrong.

And in what way am I being "held captive"? Because I'm not idiotic enough to think that NFL franchises grow on trees and this small market town could easily get another one?

I'm just as pissed at the Chiefs as anyone. But if my car gets dirty, I don't just throw it away and assume I'll be able to buy another one.

You want to talk about apathy? Move a team to LA and watch the fans not care at all - win or lose. They are just AWFUL NFL fans in LA

We are likely to see Hunt sell before that stadium is complete in LA. If they are still empty at forkinit/arrowhead when it's time, then ya, the new ownership could move.

The possibility exists that Los Angeles could supply enough money to resolve any problems. Everyone and everything has a price.
