Do you care whether the Broncos go the superbowl or not?

Next week if the Jags win, the Chiefs will be locked in for the first overall pick. If the Chiefs win against the Broncos, the Broncos won't have homefield advantage and will have to go through either New England or Houston to get to the Superbowl.

The price of winning is that in the 2nd, 4th, and 6th rounds, we'll have to switch picks with the Jags. (ex: In the 2nd, we'll pick 34th instead of 33rd).

Would you rather win and force the Broncos to play in New England or Houston, or lose and have the first pick in every round?

------

For me, even if this is a lost year for the Chiefs, I can't stand the thought of the Broncos/Manning going to or winning the Superbowl. Switching off with the Jags in the 2nd, 4th, and 6th round is a small price to pay to force them to either play in NE or HOU.

Just because this is a lost year doesn't mean we shouldn't care whether the Broncos go to the superbowl or not.

Manning. 9 seasons with 12 or more wins. Best in NFL history.

He's the best regular season QB of all time, no question.

Until the chiefs start becoming relevant, all team rivalries are moot.

It just looks pathetic to sit there clammoring onto some hope that other teams hated or not lose while your team ranks up there with some of the worst teams in NFL history.

The second round pick is the first pick of day two and could be meaningful, especially if a team were looking to trade up.....The extra time to make a move could come in handy.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

C'mon, guys. Where's that ol' AFC West spirit? Don't you want the Broncos to bring back a little of the glory to our division? You know that part of their Lombardi would be yours in spirit.

It feels that way. I didn't give a shit that we lost twice to the Raiders this year. The 2nd time I was openly rooting for it. That's how far we've fallen.

We have been the WORST team in the NFL since Clark took over.

My biggest hope. The Donks stomp us by 50+, signifying a glorious **** you ending to Pioli's masterful job of acquiring talent.

Then the Donks lose their first playoff game.
