CNNSI: Its official CP & Herm Suck

This is some really good coverage for the Chiefs:

"If there was a Week 1 antithesis to the Midas touch exhibited by the New England Patriots, it was the pitiful performance of the Kansas City Chiefs, who saw their personnel decision-making exposed on multiple fronts in a galling 20-3 loss at Houston."

"The upshot of all the Chiefs' problems is that they look like they haven't had a coherent plan in place."

Bungled Moves

At least this gets it out in the open...We Suck.

CP gets called out:

"Carl Peterson has survived in the job on a track record of success that was mostly forged years ago, and thanks to the loyalty and patience of Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt, who died last year. But K.C. hasn't won a playoff game since 1993 (0-5 in the postseason in that span), and that 13-season drought is the league's third longest."

Herm ball baby, that's why he loves Chad Pennington. He has to throw those because he has no arm.

Yep. And that's the same reason why other of DV's guys are all gone as well.

BTW I LOVED Hall's punt return!

It doesn't change the fact that he just flat-out WAS NOT GOOD for the last 2 years here in KC...

Dante needed a change of scenery, things were stale here for him.

What was stale was the blocking.

I don't think I've ever seen the national media rip Peterson like this before, nor bring up his recent record of ineptness.

I wonder if the national spotlight from Hard Knocks has caused the national media to take a closer look.

Is it safe to hope that you're right?

It seems like lately all the Chiefs have done is snuff out hope...

Well if they get trounced by Chicago then come home and lose to Minnesota......they may get even more attention for how bad they are.

I for one wouldn't mind sitting through a few black outs to see Carl get canned. It was the first game, but if the season continues on its current path Clark Hunt will look like a chump if he keeps him around.
