Also, they aren't black ONLY, they are traditionally black. The "black" fraternities at my college had a few white guys.

AFAIK, the NPHC fraternities are a little bit different than IFC chapters in how they operate. I've been lead to believe they stick to small initiate classes, are incredibly tradition minded and rumor has it were a lot more hardcore if they were hazing.
