As a fan of this franchise, when you have a chance to go to a playoff game, you should go - you never know when you'll get that opportunity again.
This. I've been to many playoff games. Never seen one end in a win. Actually maybe I'm the common thread. Maybe I'll sit this one out.

**** that.

These assholes haven't won a playoff game since I was in college. I'm ****ing 41 now.

I'm going to be there when they break the "streak" if at all possible.

What is it, about an 8 hour drive or so from Kansas City to Indianapolis?

In the NFL, does the host team in a playoff game reserve or set aside some seats for fans from the visiting team like they do in college or are the tickets strictly first come, first served? Not that I'm going, I'm in South Carolina and will watch comfortably on TV. Just curious.

"Honey, if KC hosts a playoff game this year, can I go?"

"Whatever."

I'm headed home to IL for winter break tomorrow until Jan. 7, so if they end up in Indy I'm gonna try and make it over there for the game.

Just in case you want to hedge your bets and book a room in Foxboro:

1. Indy 88%
2. NE 8%
3. Cinci 3%

I think it is because if Indy plays well enough to escape the 4th seed, Cinci has the tiebreaker over both Indy and NE.

If that happens, I'll be watching from home. Too long/expensive of a trip.

You don't get out much do you???

I'd hate to see you drop dead in shock at $250-$400 a night for nice hotels in most major cities

I've traveled quite a bit, and am used to $250-$400.

In cities like San Francisco, New York, Boston, Chicago - Kimpton and Fairmont typically.

Indianapolis? For a Hyatt? Or a Comfort Suites? Not so much.
