Can't wait to read the KC Star's take on the offensive play calling. They tried in the presser to get something out of Romeo it he is too reeruned.
Asked why we didnt throw more against the 23rd ranked pass defense and Crennel says you do what gives you the best chance to win. Asked if that then showed a lack of confidence in Cassel he said no. . |

I really think Pioli is mentally ill. All that undermining of Haley crap, and now refusing to admit Cassel was mistake, and willing to throw away the season because he thinks / knows / he's right.
I think he could easily be diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder: Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism. Narcissistic personality disorder is one of several types of personality disorders. Personality disorders are conditions in which people have traits that cause them to feel and behave in socially distressing ways, limiting their ability to function in relationships and in other areas of their life, such as work or school. Narcissistic personality disorder symptoms may include: Believing that you're better than others Fantasizing about power, success and attractiveness Exaggerating your achievements or talents Expecting constant praise and admiration Believing that you're special and acting accordingly Failing to recognize other people's emotions and feelings Expecting others to go along with your ideas and plans Taking advantage of others Expressing disdain for those you feel are inferior Being jealous of others Believing that others are jealous of you Trouble keeping healthy relationships Setting unrealistic goals Being easily hurt and rejected Having a fragile self-esteem Appearing as tough-minded or unemotional |

Again, it was just flat embarrasing. The defense played great as did the ST. What was embarrasing is that you are so scared you don't even give your team a chance to win. 3rd and long...run the ball. 3rd and long, again....run it again.
all I ams aying is Steve DeBerg would shred teams when we were running the ball like we did today. This team showed 0 confidence in the QB in a game where even a regular Matt Cassel should have won it easily. I think the biggest disappointment is, we didn't try to win the game because we were too worried about protecting our QB. That's just shameful. |

In some ways, that's true. In some ways today was worse. I could buy our strategy today if Stanzi was starting being a 3rd string guy. But not when you're #1 QB is in the game. Today showed they are just plain scared of Cassel. When it gets to the point that you are intentionally not allowing your QB to be part of the game yet you don't bench him, it's ****ing as embarrasing as it gets. It was a complete display of stupidity and ego.
