Shut the **** up and let me talk for a moment....

WR Chris Henry. Former Bengal, current free agent.

25 years old. 6'4" with good speed. Productive third WR behind CJ and Hoosyourmama.

Just got off house arrest and is allowed to start visiting with teams. No one rumored to be interested in him.

First of all, **** you, asshole. I think he'd fit here. Yeah that's right, **** off.

We're approaching a meaningless year anyway, he'll sign for dirt cheap, and considering that he just got kicked out of the league for a while, he'll be on his best behavior, whatever that is.

Guy screws up and we lose him, we lose nothing.

So **** you all, I'm intrigued.

If he goes to Oakland that will kinda suck, Henry for all his issues has #1 WR talent.

Not in the NFL he wasn't....

Henry when he's been on the field has shown the kind of talent/skills he has...he has elite talent.

He has the talent, but even less self-control than Koren Robinson. The guy was suspended 8 games last year and STILL couldn't keep himself from assaulting someone and getting arrested and fired from his job, which happened to have given him several 'second-chances,' and paid millions of dollars. With a record like his, I don't understand how anyone can even fathom trusting him. I think the risk is being understated. Bad influence, bad press, and only a slight chance that he doesn't screw up again.

He will get chances because you won't have to pay him much and if he doesn't get in trouble you got a player.

I don't know Mecca, I guess I'm just surprised. You of all people have been emphasizing how we should be in full-force rebuilding mode, which requires cutting the fat and not wasting time and money on players who won't contribute in the long run, and here's a guy who is almost sure to be a bad influence and it is highly unlikely that he will contribute to any single team consistently in the years to come. My guess is he bounces around like guys like Koren Robinson who just can't keep their act straight. Sure they have talent, but they never give the team the consistent contribution the team needs while rebuilding.

It doesn't bother me when the guy is 25 and has that sort of talent requires basically no money, you can move on from him at the drop of a hat.

Top notch WR's don't grow on trees our franchise didn't have one for what 20 some years?
