Well, only 2 games on TV for me tonight.

Right now the Wahoos of UVA are visiting Ames to face the Cyclones, ESPN2. Currently ISU leads UVA 21-17.

In 30 minutes, FSN will show the KSU vs Oakland game, at "The Fred". Currently Oakland is 0-5 and KSU is 4-0. Oakland has played pretty much all road games, and have faced Texas A&M and most recently Missouri.

KSU down by 1. Zone defense is working better for some reason...I don't know why though. Oakland hasn't even tried a 3 this half.

ISU's FT shooting was horrible. If they shoot half as good as they normally do, that game isn't even close. VA was making mad 3s to keep em in it. I'm impressed with Stinson and Blaylock.

Like I said, it's tough to come into Hilton and get a win. Morgan's only lost one game there since he's been the head coach.

I really want this night to end...this game is UGLY.

KSU is currently leading Oakland 66-61 with 1:55 left.

Cats got no defense huh? If they can't defend the powerhouse that is Oakland I hate to see what Big XII teams do to them. Oh, well, they're used to it.

Defensively we've been a whole lot better in the 2nd half, as always.

In the first half, we weren't giving them many looks, they were just hitting threes. 7/17 in the first half, and something like 2-12 in the second half.

Might as well call these kids the Scrappy Cats...cause we scrapped together in the second half again, and ended up winning the game by 7.

clawed back from as many as 15, and used solid defense and great shooting to improve to 5-0, as their opponents, the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, fall to 0-6 in their 3rd game in 6 days.

I have been to Oakland and I cannot imagine them having a College. Amazing.

Holy Lord, KSU is 6-0? Have they been playing Division III schools or something?

No. Not yet, at least. We are 5-0, btw.

We do play a Division 2 school, but playing Division 2 schools is nothing to be proud, or ashamed of. If you beat a D2 school, it does absolutely nothing to your RPI, as wins or losses vs D2 schools don't count in the RPI.

It however could influence the selection committee to not choose you if you lose to one, though.

Well, its actually not a city. The college is named Oakland, but its in Detroit.

KSU and MU are masters at finding these obscure outposts masquerading as Div. 1 schools. And as often as not, lose to them. Hahahahahaha.
