Free agents(would they consider the chiefs) - Page 3

My wife and I were discussing the thread about CP saying he would go after free agents this year.

we came to the question of Would free agents conider the chiefs.I mean quality top tier free agents.

not because of money or cp or the horrid defense,but because of the coaching situation.DV has said he will be back next year,but what about after that.Would they inform the players ahead of time about Dv's replacment if they knew.(as in Saunder)

Ive heard players before say they like stability before they sign a long contract.The chiefs dont have that after next year.With CP and Dv's contracts running out and Mr. Hunt getting up there in age.

Can we get a few top tier F/A even if CP is willing to pay.

Dude, I guarantee you, that if we show whoever the money, they will come play for KC. It wouldn't matter if we were the Alaska Chiefs if we paid them a lot of money.

It's not about the Chiefs being located in a city that doesn't offer much entertainment, it's about the money. Show them the money, then they'll come. You can't be cheap.

Which is exactly what the Chiefs are, cheap. Surely you recognize that by now. They will give a no talent hack like Bartee or Carlton Grey more money than they deserve, but give big money to a young proven performer. Forget it.

Oh you just had to bring up fuggin Carlton Grey. He has to rank in the top 10 of dumb ass moves by CP. Did that guy ever really get on the field?

Can't argue with you because what you state are facts. The only way Carl can change his rep is to go out and actually get some talent, but I won't believe it until he does it. Hope he does.

As a nickle back, and fill-in for injuries on occasion....he never sniffed a starting job.
